Late Night Shop Update!
June 30th, 2009New items in the shop!
You say you love hot glue guns? Boxes of buttons? Sewing needles? Letterpress? Generally anything and everything that’s craft-tacular? So why not have some personal stationery that reflects YOU?! Let the cards be your pens’, pencils’, and paint pens’ neighbor?! You can buy these craft-tacular note cards in a set of 4 or individually. Either way, it’s a win-win situation! Happy Shopping!

{Please excuse my lack of photography skills. It’ a work in progress.}

Bold & Noble
June 30th, 2009If I were a teacher {or a mom}, I would have these prints in my kids’ classroom {or bedroom}. They’re colorful and educational. Oh, and super fun! Thanks Bold & Noble. You’re swell.

L.A. Renegade Craft Fair
June 29th, 2009I am beyond excited right now. How excited? I’m talking cartwheels and headstands people! I’m am proud to announce that I’ll be attending this year’s Renegade Craft Fair in L.A.! This is the 1st year they’ve held the fair in LA. Previous years, Brooklyn, San Fran, and Chicago have hosted this event. I’ll be making the drive north on Sunday, as I’ll be out of town that Saturday. If you’re in the Southern California area, definitely check this out! Even if you’re not a Southern California resident {oh, I’m sorry}, cruise on over to their website to see if they’re hosting a weekend fair close to your neighborhood. Psssst: it’s FREE!

PS} Happy Friday!

Studio Inspiration
June 26th, 2009I’m always saving JPGs I find online or cutting out from magazine articles, all of images I fall in love with. Here are a few I uncovered from my hard drive this week.

{I’ve totally spaced on where I found these images. So sorry! If someone recognizes, please let me know. Thanks a million!}

It’s sew time….
June 25th, 2009The more I sew, the more ideas I get in my noggin for fun & often times, silly pieces to create.
Not so silly, but just as fun. Miss Merillee, author of Mer Mag and owner of Tuesday Mourning, designed and created this beautiful dress. Gray & yellow has always been one of my favorite color combos! This could be a fun, personal project on a rainy weekend. It really is quite wonderful, don’t you think?

The Boys’ Finale
June 24th, 2009Don’t you just go ga-ga for odd numbers? I absolutely love them. Odd numbers just seem a little rougher around the edges than even numbers. They seem more playful than the even numbers. Plus, let’s just be completely honest here, a group of odd numbers just looks better than a group of even numbers. Oh geez, it seems I have forgotten where I was going with this. Oh, right. I’ve got a blog to manage.
I know I don’t need to say this, but I’ve been on a HUGE kick with my love of ties this week. I feel like if go the entire week with ties, you may get very annoyed with me and want say to me {with you fist waving frantically in the air}, “Enough already! Where’s the hot glue gun and a bowl full of random buttons?!” I hear ya! So, I am going to end this impromptu “This one’s for the boys” series with some seriously sweet sugar cookies, in the shape of ties of course!

PS} They can be bought here.
PPS} Tomorrow, it’s back to semi girlie, definitely crafty posts. Promise.

For the boys {Part Two}
June 23rd, 2009Okay, okay… this one’s for the little boys and their mamas. After posting my last blog, I just so happened to discover KraftyKym’s Etsy shop. Not only are her one of a kind onesies adorable, but the photo styling is a looker as well!

This one’s for the boys.
June 22nd, 2009I watch a lot of news programs and I’m constantly taking mental notes of the guys’ ties. I don’t know why, but I am just fascinated with the choices men take in accessorizing their otherwise uneventful outfits. Today, I stumbled upon this website and am in awe of their super cute madras patterned ties.

Sweet Summer Goodness
June 19th, 2009These pictures have absolutely nothing to do with note cards. Or weekend craft projects. Or even sewing simple clutch bags. But really, does it even matter? Summer is hot and ice cream is your secret remedy. {Okay, frozen yogurt’s allowed too}. Moral of this story: have a sweet, summery goodness weekend y’all!

{PS: Images found here. Thanks Sweet Paul.}
