Before I get started, I just have to say….. HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVES!!

We have been so busy these past couple of weeks, enjoying the holidays and working on patterns for new products and such, that we have completely slipped on wishing you all the very best this year! And with the new year, always comes a bunch of new goals. One of my silly new year’s resolutions is to make sure I tackle at least one very-crafty/non-work project a month!

It’s day 6 of January and I have found my first funzie: Sublime Stiching’s “Floral Fantasy” Stitchable EcoTote!! It’s so me and I’ve been wanting to do some grandma-inspired artsy fartsy stuff for awhile now. Don’t you just love her sly little wink and the bundle of flowers in her hair?! I’m imagining the situation now…. me, sitting on my favorite blanket in the front yard with the sun overhead and the hipsters on my sidewalk. This is just the perfect environment for me to get started on my new year’s resolution!

Oh, and one more thing… Sublime Stitching has a slew of other very cool embroidery patterns on their website! You can pick just the right one and stitch your mom a lovely sofa pillow or your niece a pretty little tee, or hey, how about a visor for your pooch? OK, maybe that’s taking the fun a bit too far, but you get the idea. So start stitching already!
