today i accomplished a small something

i wrote my bio. and i feel pretty darn good about it!

Bio My daily mantra, “Keep the positivity flowing, keep our bodies clean and limber, and make our ever-changing surroundings a little more pleasing to all of the senses.” I’m a dreamer and a total goofball, discovering everything beautiful this world has to offer. My idea of fun is anything from spending an afternoon thrifting and collecting vintage lovelies to traveling across the world to watch the sun rise. I wish that autumn was the longest season and that I had a maple tree all to myself. Today I am 26 and life is good! Ever since I was a tiny tot, I have loved everything that is art: paint, oil pastels, paper, fabric designs, making faces in the mirror and having conversations with my dog, Molly. Growing up, I would spend hours in the grassy field of my neighborhood park, sketchbook and 64 crayola crayons in hand, just staring up into the sky. Life has always inspired me and color continues to enliven me. I truly believe that if everyone could take a few minutes out of their day to do something that makes them laugh, well then, the world would be a far better place. My personal intention with JessBecause is to offer you fun & frilly goodies that complement your everyday modern life! Whether that piece is a simply sweet note card to mail to your BFF, a new throw pillow for that living room reading chair, or that just-right vintage find I discovered on a thrift-day field trip. The point of all of this…. to remind you to love life, laugh at the small things, and appreciate everyone you share a “Hello” with in the morning, a “Goodnight” with in the evening, and everything in between.
